today's
GOOD FRIDAY!!!!
haha. i've slacked my whole day away. haven't done any work at all. haha. =P can't wait for band prac later. muahahahaha.
anyway, yesterday, my 2 darling-est friends also known as
N-squared or the Love Birds or better refered to as Tarzan and Jane, asked me and clement out for a lil birthday dinner. yes. does that sound innocent to you? why it sure did to me. but uh uh *shakes head*, that cheeky couple had something up their sleeves.
so the story begins when nadine called me up the day before (wednesday night):

hello!!!nadine:
hey, tomorrow's outing right, bring clothes okay? must remember to bring clothes ok? cos we are going to take you all to some posh nosh restaurant.
esther: *extremely excited*

unfortunately, the shirt i borrowed from my sister was extremely disgusting and so i dared not wear it cos it was too
'hole-y' and i was just in total shock at the
airy-ness of the shirt. haha. so nic, being a really kind soul, lent me his ACJC blue shirt, i ended up looking like a total weirdo in ACJC oversized shirt and jeans and my school shoes. yes, what could get worse? after threatening to jump off the mrt dozens of times and giving the couple heart attacks on the way there, we finally made it to Jurong Point. nadine was really nice and got me a nice black shirt from Giordano. haha. thanks nads.
when clement arrived, all 4 of us went to Crystal Jade Xiao Long Bao and had a nice nice dinner. =) to my relief, clement was also wearing casuals so i didn't feel like some odd one out. but the strange part was that throughout the dinner, the 2
OH CHEEKY ONES were giving each other bizarre smiles and grins and me and clement were like O.O". hahahahaa.
after dinner, nadine suggested we settle down at the Food Court and talk. doesn't that sound like a perfectly innocent plan? why yes. so the 4 of us walked to the Food Court and propped ourselves down. they took out our presents and just when i thought it was
'open the presents time':
nadine and nic: *at the same time*
oh yes, we have some STUFF to attend to. err, u guys wait here okay? and don't touch the presents yet.
me and clement: =.="
okay....nadine and nic: *scoots off really quick*
me and clement:
....... -2 minutes later- *clement's phone rings*
clement: *picks up the phone*
hello... huh?!?!... look in the plastic bag with the presents??... the middle of the presents??? *searches the inside of the bag* *finds movie tickets to ICE AGE*
BOTH OF YOU ARE SO GOING TO GET IT...
ok ok... what the... *puts down the phone*

ICE AGE 2 was not too bad. quite funny. just that i think
ICE AGE 1 was better. hahahahaha. so confirms my theory that sequels to original movies just don't work. but oh well.
the show ended near 10.30pm?!?!?! super late lor. first time i caught a late night movie in my life. haha. yes yes.
so yes, thanks to the 2
OH CHEEKY ONES who were hanging out at Macs while we were at the movie, we had quite a day. not to mention guest appearance by mister
